April is National Safe Digging Month! This month, recognized by CGA stakeholders, reminds diggers the importance of calling 811 before all outdoor digging projects, large or small. Be sure to contact Alabama 811 two (2) full working days, not counting the day of notification, before all digging projects. Hitting an underground utility line while digging can cause serious injuries, disrupt service to entire neighborhoods, and potentially result in fines and repair costs. |
