2023 Communities of the Year


Two Gardant-managed communities were honored as 2023 Communities of the Year.

 

The award takes into consideration the satisfaction of residents and families of residents, occupancy, employee retention and turnover, and financial performance.

 

Heritage Woods of Ottawa was recognized as the community of the year for communities with 80 or more apartments and Heritage Woods of Flora for communities with less than 80 apartments.

Celebrating 10 Years of Service to Adults with Disabilities

Deer Path of Huntley celebrated its 10th Anniversary. Over the past ten years, more than 450 adults with disabilities have benefited from the affordable assisted living lifestyle and services available at Deer Path.

 

During the celebration, residents Robert Longmore, Yvette Smith, and Edward Swanson were recognized for being residents of the community for ten years. Staff members Julie Helm and Juanita Villarreal were recognized for ten years of service.
