Hello Ron,

The patio is officially open and our enclosure is almost done, you can still enjoy our beautiful gardens even if the weather isn't cooperating. We are excited to announce coming in June we will have live music every other Friday starting June 7th from 6:00 to 8:00pm and the kitchen will remain open with our extended hours.

Rose' Legrein

Lagrein (pronounced lah-GRAH'EEN, lah-GRINE or lah-GRI'NE) is a red wine grape variety native to the valleys of South Tyrol, northern Italy. Along with Marzemino, it is a descendant of Teroldego, and related to Syrah, Pinot noir and Dureza.

Thanks to its fresh and uncomplicated character, the rosé is becoming increasingly popular among wine connoisseurs.” 2022.

Merlot

Merlot is one of the world’s most popular red wines, and America’s second favorite after Cabernet Sauvignon. Known for its soft, sensual texture and approachable style, it’s made from red-skinned grapes that can adapt to a variety of climates to produce food-friendly wines in many price points. Merlot can be velvety and plummy, or rich and oaky. There’s something for everyone, which is why Merlot is adored.

Sauvignon blanc 2022

A king among white grapes, Sauvignon Blanc features prominently in France’s Loire Valley, where it is the primary white grape used in Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé. In Bordeaux it is a main grape for dry white-wine production, as well as one of three grapes used to produce the famous Botrytis cinerea-inflected Sauternes. And in New Zealand, it’s used by winemakers to produce grassy, aromatic white wines.

As the Vineyard turns….”the buds break”

As the temperatures rise, increasing pressure from the sap in the vines force those fuzzy buds to break and scream "free at last". Growth is slow at this point, but once leaves start to develop they begin to produce new energy through photosynthesis and the shoots can grow as much as an inch per day.

Fortunately we didn't lose much from the late frost that we had at the end of April, although we did have a few rows of Chardonnay take a hit from the cold temperatures.
