Jimmy Fund Update
Normandy Farms Campground is happy to announce that on September 14, 2021 we presented Sarah Eldredge, Officer, Event Fundraising for the Jimmy Fund, with a check for $16,380.00 for our annual fundraising events.
We are proud to say that since we began raising money for the Jimmy Fund in 1983 we have do­nated $403,756.00. 2022 will mark our 40th year helping this great cause.

Glamping Anyone?
There's still time for glamping this season and not only are the rates lower midweek, but so are the crowds!

Meet Stella Tootsie!
This sweet girl is a 3–4-year-old Labrador Beagle mix. Stella is a very sweet and loving girl but does have a few quirks. Noises startle her and her new owners will need to learn how to manage this, please read her full biography by clicking on the link below. Stella’s foster family is working very hard on her quirks, and we hope that someday she will outgrow them. She is a shy girl and will need time to warm up to strangers. She is a great dog and just needs the perfect family who will understand her.

Things To Do In the Area!
  • Flint Farm in Mansfield – Maze is open Saturday and Sundays as well as Monday, Columbus Day from noon – 5. At Flint Farm you’ll also find ice cream, fresh vegetables and lots of fall fun (additional hours for these services)
  • Adam’s Farm in Cumberland features the largest pumpkin patch in RI, farm animal petting area, cornmaze, farm stand, weekend hayrides and weekend food truck. Check them out at
  • Ward’s Berry Farm in Sharon offers weekend hayrides for a tour of the farm, conquer the Sorghum Maze (open daily) and check out the farm store with unique offerings – delicious, delectable, distinctive!
  • Fear Town Haunted House in Seekonk is a massive outdoor haunted attraction that is unlike anything you have ever experienced. Located deep in the woods at Seekonk Speedway, Fear Town will take you on a terrifying journey in and out of the run-down buildings that have been hidden for decades.   • 10/1-10/3 Anchored: The Pilgrim Story in Plymouth - an all-new, original production choreographed by Ballet Magnificat!, celebrating the 400th anniversary of the Pilgrims. Anchored tells the story of the Pilgrims from their voyage to America to the first Thanksgiving: their courage, faith, perseverance, and quest for freedom.
  • 10/1-10/31 Fenway Park Tours, Tour the home of the Boston Red Sox, including the press box, dugout, field, and more. Best for ages 4 and up. Tours leave from the Souvenir Store across Yawkey Way hourly seven days a week.
  • Fenway Park: Visit the park where the Babe pitched, The Kid hit, Yaz dazzled, and Nomar and Pedro still thrill young fans today. Soak up the rich history; hear the echoes of the past. Touch the Green Monster, imagine being one of the 'Knights of the Keyboard' as you see the view from the Press Box, visit the new Red Sox Hall of Fame presented by Volvo, and take a seat in the .406 Club before strolling around Fenway Park. The tour of Fenway provides fans with a behind-the-scenes look at America's most beloved ballpark. All areas are subject to availability. Tours of Fenway Park, the oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball, include the press box and broadcast booths; the new Red Sox Hall of Fame Club presented by Volvo; the .406 Club; the Dugout Seats; and Pesky's Pole.
  • 10/1-10/31 Salem Haunted Happenings, You're invited to America's Halloween Festival in the bewitching seaport of Salem, Massachusetts. Nobody celebrates Halloween quite like Salem. The businesses and organizations in Salem are setting the stage for a return to pre-pandemic capacity and programming with the return of Salem Haunted Happenings. Visitors to this bewitching seaport north of Boston will be delighted to find the street fairs, performances, expanded programming, special events, and seasonal flair are in the works for this fall.   • 10/1-10/31 Festival of Illumination World of Lights at Southwick’s Zoo in Mendon - Take an exhilarating journey around the globe at the breathtaking Festival of Illumination at Southwick’s Zoo. “World of Lights: Our Continents and Their Cultures” uses magnificent handcrafted Chinese lanterns to help visitors immerse themselves in a magical world of illumination. Travel to the African Savannahs, the Amazon rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef, all illuminated with hundreds of amazingly intricate lanterns and custom-built exhibits of silk, steel and LED lights.
  • 10/2 Shovel Town Brewery Oktoberfest in Easton, Come join the fun at Shovel Town Brewery's 5th Annual Oktoberfest to benefit Easton Charities! Join us on Saturday October 2nd from 12 - 10pm when we will turn our outdoor space and parking lot into a traditional Oktoberfest Celebration with plenty of room for everyone to join in the fun! This year’s event will feature live music from several local artists, authentic German Food, games, Shovel Town Oktoberfest and Pumpkin Beer and so much more!

  • 10/15 Fall Pumpkin Float Festival at Frog Pond, Boston - Boston's annual Fall Pumpkin Float will be held at the Boston Common Frog Pond. Hundreds of illuminated jack-o’-lanterns will be floated on the water accompanied by spooky family activities. Attendees are asked to bring 8-inch or smaller carved pumpkins that will be lit and then floated on the Frog Pond for a dramatic early evening display. Adults and children are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes and participate in a wide range of fun activities.
  • 10/16 11th Annual Fall Harvest Celebration at Patriot Place begins behind Bass Pro Shops as Ocean Spray harvests the real working cranberry bog at Patriot Place

  • 10/23 Patriots Hall of Fame at Gillette Stadium, Induction Ceremony of Richard Seymour into the Hall of Fame. The outdoor ceremony is free and open to the public. Fans of all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend.
