ELECTRI April 2024 Recap

The next ELECTRI Council Room session will be held May 21 at 3 PM Eastern and will focus on Productivity and Labor Planning. The session will be led by RIVET Work’s Gary Fuchs, Brian Witt, and Ryan Meitl. They will discuss what contractors can do at the operational level to impact productivity and identify some well-known productivity killers as well as how to address them in your business processes. They will also address centralized labor planning and how to best manage crews on projects across the company.

Attendees should be prepared to discuss their own productivity killers they see in their companies and ways they have successfully addressed them.. Feel free to forward this invitation to others. This session would be helpful for project management professionals and superintendents along with executives focused on operations within your company.

ECIC Judges Needed: – There are 14 NECA Student Chapters participating in ELECTRI’s 2024 Electrical Contracting Innovation Challenge (ECIC). Next, our industry leaders get to review the project proposals and select the three finalist teams to make in-person presentations during the NECA Convention in San Diego. Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention

It is an unfortunate fact that construction has the highest rate of suicide of any industry in America. We lose about 53 out of every 100,000 members of our industry EVERY YEAR to suicide. We are four times the average of other industries. We have a crisis in construction and we need to do something about it. You can visit the Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention website and learn more. We urge all to take the pledge to STAND UP for suicide prevention and address it as a health and safety priority.
