Kathy’s role at Employee Resource Systems, Inc. over the last 20 years has been that of an EAP Counselor, Director of Provider Relations and Account Manager. In her role as Account Manager, Kathy has worked with assigned client companies over the years to help develop strategies that foster employee/member performance and development through organizational consultation and training. Kathy is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Certified Alcohol & Other Drug Counselor (CADC) and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP). | |

ECA Student Committee Update
The ECA Student Committee would like to thank Mike Meyer, ECA Student Committee Chair, Director of Construction Operations, Continental Electrical Construction Company, for his assistance with a company warehouse visit on Friday, April 5, 2024, to offer the students a unique perspective of BIM utilization realized on a project – specially, use of a robotic total station, as this year’s ECIC primarily concerns BIM use, among other areas concerning a project.

ECA 52nd Annual Spring
Conference June 12 - 13, 2024
REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
The Electrical Contractors’ Association of City of Chicago (ECA) 52nd Annual Spring Conference will be held on June 12 - 13, 2024 at The American Club in Kohler, Wisconsin. The American Club is one of the premier resort hotels in the country. It is the only AAA Five Diamond Resort in the Midwest. We’re sure that this is reason enough to attend this Conference. Registration closes May 3, 2024!
Wednesday's golf outing will be at the Blackwolf Run River Course and that evening's reception/dinner meeting will provide you with the latest information regarding industry events.
The Thursday morning Business Session will feature a presentation from Mike Breslin called, “People First The Next Evolution of Construction in the Workplace.” This conference is a great opportunity to catch up with what’s going on in this constantly changing industry.

Important Improvements to NEBF

IMSCA Update - April 5, 2024
April 5, 2024 was the deadline for House bills to be voted out of committee. Those bills now have until April 19, 2024, to be voted out of the House and over to the Senate. The Senate has established April 12, 2024, as the deadline for bills introduced in that chamber to be voted on and sent to the House.
