City of Chicago Development Process Improvement Task Force - Interest Form
The City of Chicago Mayor’s Office is forming a process improvement task force with approximately 20-25 external stakeholders with experience in residential and/or commercial development.
The City is looking for individuals with working knowledge of local development review and entitlement processes, including (but not limited to) zoning, permitting, financial incentives, design review, environmental review, boards and commissions, and more.
Time Commitment:
- One-year commitment (April 2024 – March 2025) with an opportunity for extension
- One-hour meetings every other month (eventually quarterly)
- Periodic attendance at initiative events (e.g. launch events, public comment hearings)
- Additional 1-2 hours/months reviewing documents and providing written or verbal feedback
