A Message from our VP

I feel that these last few weeks of the semester will fly right on by as we celebrate all the student success of the past year, wrap up programs, and support students to finish the semester strong. I will begin this month at NASPA where GS programs represented by DSA leaders (i.e., Gemma Skuraton, Megan Mercer, Ken Gassiot) and a student (Gabi Wiggill) will be recognized for their leadership on two GS initiatives, Period Equity Movement and Eagle Experience. GATA!

I hope this newsletter illuminates opportunities for you to be more aware of happenings across our campuses and in the Division of Student Affairs. A special Congratulations! To Jodi Kennedy for being elected as the Chair-Elect to Staff Council. I know she will continue to be a great representative of Student Affairs in Staff Council!

Thank you for all you do for our GS students! Hang in there this month and let’s support each other through these busy times.

Hail Southern!
