Being Present in the New Year
Would you like to improve your physical and mental wellness?

Relieve stress, lower blood pressure, reduce chronic pain, improve sleep, and alleviate gastrointestinal difficulties?
Consider this: MINDFULNESS PRACTICE
mind·ful·ness

a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.
KPFC is Hosting Virtual Cafes
Virtual Cafés are physically and emotionally safe spaces where participants can talk about the challenges and victories within their own lives. Cafés are structured discussions that use the principles of adult learning and peer support. They are highly sustainable with training reinforcement, institutional support, and a commitment to an approach that engages and affirms peers as leaders. Through individual deep self-reflection and peer-to-peer learning, participants explore their strengths, learn about the Protective Factors, and create strategies from their own wisdom and experiences to help strengthen themselves and their families. Participants leave Cafés feeling inspired, energized, and excited to put into practice what they’ve learned.
