RESUME & MOCK INTERVIEW WORKSHOP
On April 26th from 1-3 pm, we will be doing a resume and mock interview workshop for 20 youth with H & W produce.
H & W produce is an organization that hires youth at 16+ for entry level positions including cashiers or stock associates.
This will be first come first serve, so please register below.
Youth must be 16+ to participate.

Join Royal City Soccer Club's team of energetic, soccer-loving camp staff this summer. They have 4 different positions plus amazing volunteer opportunities. Check out below some of those opportunities and visit their website for more details!

Camp Counsellors manage and supervise a group of campers (kids aged 5 – 13) throughout the day. Together with the supervisor, they will operate the summer day camp program throughout the week while adhering to safety protocols.

Counsellor in Training (CIT)
|
CITs will work closely with Camp Counsellors and supervisors to implement camp activities and ensure a safe and fun environment for everyone. CITs may or may not be put in charge of a group of campers.
|
|
Gain great experience while having fun! Volunteers are an important part of camp success. Volunteers are expected to maintain a good work ethic by assisting all staff and providing a fun and safe learning atmosphere for campers.

This bursary is tailored for students experiencing financial hardships, dedicated to creating a lasting impact in their communities while pursuing their education. With values of $3,000 (college) or $5,000 (university), this support will help alleviate tuition expenses at any Canadian post-secondary institution.
🎓 Eligibility Requirements:
- Must demonstrate critical financial need (net combined family income of $65,000 or less).
- Apply early as only the first 400 applications will be considered.
- Required Documentation:

Personal Statement: Craft a 500-word essay detailing your aspirations and commitment to social impact.

Social Impact Project: Describe your project or volunteer initiative in a written format (max 500 words) or a video (up to 3 minutes).

- Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or Protected Person in Canada.
- Completion of high school education (or equivalent) by Fall 2024.
- Acceptance into a post-secondary program at an eligible Canadian institution for Fall 2024.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- First generation in the family to pursue post-secondary education

Residents of the greater Edmonton area, currently attending or planning to attend a school within the region. Eligible candidates must be enrolled in or intending to enroll in a recognized undergraduate, professional, or applied degree, diploma, or certificate program. Please note that academic upgrading, college preparation, graduate programs, after degrees, and international students are not eligible.
