Meet our Volunteer of the Month: Ed Fick
I started volunteering in the winter of 2014 at the old library, first in circulation and then adding library transit. From the start, I have served as a substitute with no set day or time. I enjoy the flexibility and variety, and there are always openings in the schedule that need coverage. As a lifelong reader, volunteering here has been a perfect fit.
I have witnessed the Lewes Public Library’s growth as a vital community asset and resource. The welcoming and positive atmosphere encourages our patrons to take advantage of the programs and activities offered in our beautiful facility.
When I hear community members sing the praises of our library, I am proud to have some small part in our success.
