Meet our Volunteer of the Month: Patti Pilkington
I started with the library in May 2013 (11 years ago) at the front desk in the old building. I loved working there but what a fantastic improvement our “new” building is. I now work “behind the scenes” and enjoy learning those jobs.
My favorite moments involved helping library visitors learn the layout of our library, find a book, or just point them in the right direction. BUT my most memorable day was when we got to see the new library for the first time. WOW!
I appreciate how much our library has to offer me and other residents of the area—from book clubs, lectures, classes and more. Thank you to the board, the amazing staff (especially Tracy), and all my fellow dedicated volunteers. It is a pleasure working with all of you.
