Legal Specialization Applications Now Being Accepted

The State Bar Board of Legal Specialization is accepting applications for certification in the following areas: Appellate Practice, Bankruptcy (Business and Consumer), Child Welfare, Criminal (State, Federal, and Juvenile Delinquency), Elder Law, Estate Planning, Family, Immigration, Privacy and Information Security, Real Property (Commercial and residential), Social Security Disability, Trademark Law, Utilities and Workers' Compensation. 


File a Declaration of Intent if you plan to apply at a later date.

eCourts Expansion Announced for 2024

Track 4 eCourts will launch on April 29 in 10 counties (Alamance, Chatham, Durham, Franklin, Granville, Guilford, Orange, Person, Vance and Warren.) County groupings have also been provided for Track 5, which will go live this summer, and Track 6, which will go live in the fall.
