Board Members:
President (s) –
Manages the administration of the KID Auxiliary. Organizes/runs Board and General meetings. Represents KID Auxiliary at KID Board meetings. Advises and works with Auxiliary Board Members and Committee Chairs on all matters. Reviews communications, event plans, and budget
for Auxiliary.
Vice President(s), Membership –
Solicit/retain previous Auxiliary members. Identify and solicit new
members. Create application. Record information/payments received. Create and issue membership directory. Identify/assign mentors and hold social event for new members.
Vice President(s) –
Kids Helping KID - Manage high school group that supports the mission of the
Auxiliary. (KHK members must have a parent that belongs to the Auxiliary.) Identify KHK Board members to lead group each year. Maintain volunteer database of KHK Board members, other KHK members, and friends of KHK. Solicit volunteers to support Auxiliary and KHK events/activities. Provide service letters to teens participating. Plan and/or support fundraisers, activities with the KID children, and drives to collect items needed by KID (e.g., Thanksgiving Food Drive).
Recording Secretary (ies) –
Record minutes and attendance at all Auxiliary Board and General
meetings. Present minutes for approval at following meeting. Maintain corporate records (minutes, attendance, voting, treasury reports). Maintain corporate phone and storage facility key/access.
Treasurer (s) –
Maintain financial records for Auxiliary. Organize/oversee payment capability for all events. Process all transactions. Create/present monthly results at meetings. Create financial reports as needed. File tax returns and required reporting (local, state, federal) for corporation,
including not-for-profit status.
Parliamentarian (s) –
Maintain order at all meetings. Ensure that Robert’s Rules of Order are
followed for meetings/voting. Maintain/update by-laws for Auxiliary. Maintain/update job descriptions for Auxiliary positions and transitions. Oversee nomination and election process for following year.
Presidential Advisor (s) –
Former Auxiliary President (s) that provides support/advice to the Board
and the incoming Auxiliary President.
