Happy New Year from the SDDA! We will have our regular meeting this Thursday, January 18th at the Pig 'N Pancake at 8:30 A.M. This week's presentation will be Onward Adventures owner, Katie Earl. At every meeting we have a 50/50 Drawing for various prizes. Buy tickets for $1 each and the grand prize winner will receive 50% of the money collected with the remaining 50% going to the Downtown Beautification Fund. The Grand Prize winner also receives 50% off their next meal at the Pig 'N Pancake.

We have three new Board Members as of January 1, 2024. Haylie Hudson of Your Store, Teresa Simplot from Holiday Inn Express & Suites and Stevie Sue Stevenson of Cotton Club and Rascals are our newly elected Board Members. We want to thank Keith Chandler and Gini Dideum for their years of service to the Seaside Downtown Development Association.

Our next SDDA Board Meeting has been moved to Friday, January 19, 2024.

Will You Be Purchasing Flower Baskets For Your Business, Home A Loved One This Summer?

The Seaside Downtown Development Association will have our annual flower basket sale soon, with flower baskets arriving Wednesday, May 22nd. These are the same flower baskets that are hanging in downtown Seaside from Memorial Day Weekend through mid-September. These baskets can have the hooks and bars removed easily to be set in a planter on your patio as well.

We will be taking orders soon and would love to have your support in this annual Downtown Beautification project.

2024 Downtown Walking Map

We are putting together the 2024 Downtown Walking Map. If you are interested in having your business or organization on this map, which is distributed to 20,000 people annually and displayed at area hotels, the Carousel Mall, Visitors Center and the Pig 'N Pancake, please email Kerri at admin@seasidedowntown.com. Or feel free to call 503-717-1914. The deadline is January 15th.

Don't forget to take the Seaside 2050 Survey. We are only about 20% to the goal of completed surveys for public input for the new Seaside Comprehensive Plan. Please take the survey and encourage your employees, co-workers, friends, neighbors and family to take the survey as well. The survey is only seven questions.

2024 Mid-Winter & Spring Break Schedule

Some have already asked, so we put together the Spring Break schedules for the Pacific Northwest. Remember that the Mid-Winter Break coincides with the largest PBL Tournament.
