National Junior Board Members

Boone Begert, So. Agriculture, is a 4th generation rancher

and a member of the North American Limousin

Junior Association Board. His family has been ranching

in the eastern Texas Panhandle since 1911

and raising Purebred Limousin cattle since 1974.

Boone attended his first North American Limousin Show

and Congress when he was 5 months old in Murfreesboro, TN. Boone is honored to serve on the board as Director.

This board governs the affairs of the Junior Association, oversees the three Regional shows, and plans the National Show,

which includes not only the cattle shows, but also satellite events and leadership activities. Boone also serves as the 2023-2024 President of the Texas Junior Limousin Association.

Kyli Kraft, Jr. Agribusiness, is a 5th generation Colorado commercial cattle-woman and serves as the Director

for the National Junior Angus Association Board.

She had the opportunity to grow up on a diversified farming

and cattle operation where she gained experience in the cow/calf, backgrounder, and finishing phase of the cattle business.

Her family also sells beef locally, as well as owns

a feedyard risk management and consulting business.

After joining the National Junior Angus Association

and Colorado Junior Angus Association in 2017, she was instantly hooked on becoming more involved in the breed.

She is now serving as a 2024 junior board member

for the National Junior Angus Association.

After interviewing many of the most successful businessmen in the last century,

Napoleon Hill stated;

“The starting point of all achievement is DESIRE.

Keep this constantly in mind.

Weak desire brings weak results,

just as a small fire makes a small amount of heat.”
