BBQ & Blues - Thu., May 16th to Sat., May 18th 

The Bixby BBQ and Blues festival is a three-day family-friendly event on May 16 - 18. Over 50 retail vendors will display and sell their goods and services. Great Plains Carnival will have rides all three days. A kid's zone will feature pony rides, slides, and inflatables. In addition to the BBQ, there will be a food court with vendors selling BBQ, hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, beer, soft drinks, and so much more.


In addition to the Bixby BBQ and Blues, The Rotary Club of Bixby is a non-profit organization designed to help residents of the Bixby area through projects such as the distribution of over 1,200 dictionaries to 3rd graders in Bixby and surrounding area schools, Shop with a Cop, high school scholarships, and more. The Rotarians also have international projects providing educational support to a girl's school, providing medical supplies to developing countries, and providing eyewear to people in remote locations in developing countries.  For more information on the Rotary Club of Bixby, check them out at bixbyrotary.com.

Bixby Fine Arts Fair- Sat., May 4th

The Bixby Fine Arts Department is presenting a one-day event featuring groups from the bands, choirs, arts department for family and the public viewing pleasure. There will be food trucks and Student Exhibits on Display.

Shop Local, Eat Local, and Support Local

Come out to Charley Young Event Park in Downtown Bixby for the Bixby Farmers Market, a bi-weekly Sunday event starting in April. Homegrown and handmade items will be on sale, and there will be all kinds of fun activities.

The 11th annual Superhero Challenge, benefitting the Child Advocacy Network, is happening 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 4 at Washington Irving Memorial Park (13700 S. Memorial Dr.) in Bixby. Enjoy a mile or half mile obstacle course (fit for kids of all ages), inflatables, food and fun for the whole family.

  • North on S. Riverview Dr. to E. 151 St. South;
  • East (Right) on E. 151 St. South. to S. Mingo Rd.;
  • South (Right) on S. Mingo Rd. to E. 161 St. South;
  • West (Right) on E. 161 St. South to S. Riverview Dr.;
  • North (Right) on S. Riverview Dr. to the Main Entrance South of the Football Stadium.

What is Bixby Connect?
Spot a pothole? Driving to work and notice a stop sign is missing? Bixby Connect Mobile app and Web-Based Service gives citizens an easier way to report issues around the Bixby community. It also allows citizens to stay connected with city staff on the progress of their requests. Bixby Mobile Connect allows users to attach a photograph. The app also utilizes adjustable GPS for clearer reporting. Citizens can report multiple types of issues, view other user’s previous and active status reports. Citizens will also find quick links to Frequently Asked Questions, Utility Payments and various other services offered by the City of Bixby.
