2022 Golden State International Wushu Championships

The 2022 Golden State International Wushu Championships and USAWKF National Kung Fu Team Trials ended successfully at 11:00 p.m. on September 4th. This competition is a large-scale international Wushu competition Hosted by the World Taiji Science Federation (WTSF) and sanctioned by the United States of America Wushu-Kungfu Federation, Inc. (USAWKF). Kung Fu and Wushu teams from 20 countries and regions participated in both In-Person and online competitions. The total number of participating athletes was more than 1,700 athletes, and more than 3,000 athletes, team leaders, coaches, parents, and spectators participated in the in-person Competition at James Logan High School in Union City California. This event has come to known as the largest competition in the United States of America.

The competition was a major success. The competition was held in 6 different rings in two stadiums at the same time. Competition events include three categories: contemporary Wushu, traditional Kung Fu, Taijiquan, and health qigong, covering most Wushu northern and southern styles; divided 12 Age groups, including all-around and individual; Duilian and group competitions.

Justin Eggert, the chief referee, led the 2022 Golden State Wushu Championships judge team into the arena. The Judge team for this competition consists of 10 IWUF international level judges, 16 Pan American level judges, and 20 US national and Chinese national first-class Wushu judges.

Opening remark at welcome banquet

Vice chairman of the International Wushu Federation IWUF and the chairman of the USAWKF Mr. Anthony Goh gave the first opening speech.

Professor form Stanford University; UC Berkeley; San Jose State University; Five Branches University; California University Silicon Valley, are attempt welcome banquet.

Team leaders, coaches, judges also participated in the welcome banquet 

USAWKF President Anthony Goh, Vice president Ian Lee, Board Member Matt Wong, and Justin Eggert joined the event.
