The Planning Committee met Thursday, March 21. The committee continued to work on the development of the Woodlake Five Year Plan providing edits and suggestions to the document. This work will continue. The committee will meet next in June to solidify the draft of the Five Year Plan and prepare to present the document to the Board for Directors.

Board of Directors President Michael Traynor with General Manager John Bailey provided an update to the Thacker Property Development. Traynor shared there have been no changes to the status of the project from what was presented to residents last week in the Digest. That information has been included below.

The (Thacker Development) project has been re-submitted and is again "Under Discussion" by Chesterfield County Planning. PLEASE NOTE: At this point, nothing has been approved by Chesterfield County.

A Woodlake Community meeting will be announced once Chesterfield County Planning staff has reviewed and submitted suggested revisions to the developer. We will continue to share information, updates and opportunities for input as this project progresses.

Here is a link to the Chesterfield County website with information on what has been submitted related to the Thacker Project. https://aca-prod.accela.com/CHESTERFIELD/Cap/CapDetail.aspx?Module=Planning&TabName=Planning&capID1=REC22&capID2=00000&capID3=00G12&agencyCode=CHESTERFIELD

We have below links to the most recent documents posted to Chesterfield County's website (from the link above). We will have a printed copy of all links available to view at the WCA Office. If you would like a printed copy of the documents, it can be purchased for $20. Note, there are over 50 pages and large document sizes if you choose to print the documents.
