Fulton Street and Oakhill Cemeteries
Bicycle Tour (or Drive) to Grand Rapids Cemeteries
Tuesday, August 14, and Saturday, August 18
The Greater Grand Rapids Women's History Council is teaming up with local organizations "She Rides Her Own Way" and the Grand Rapids Public Library for a "GR Reads" program offering a bicycle tour from the Main library to Fulton Cemetery and then on to Oakhill Cemetery. At the cemeteries riders will be shown the grave sites and hear the stories of influential women in GR history, including business woman Anna Bissell, African American leader Emma Ford, suffragist Clara Comstock Russell, Ph.D. bacterialogist Mary Hefferan, and more.

No Bike? No Problem
If you are unable to bike but would still like to attend the tours please join us at the times and locations listed in the details below. Look for Grand Rapids Public Library signage that will direct you to the correct entrance at each cemetery.
