Nicole Wagner, a Waukesha resident has been named executive director of the Women and Girls Fund of Waukesha County (WGF).
Nicole joins us from Make-A-Wish Wisconsin where she worked for over 16 years, most recently as Vice President of Mission Delivery. She has nearly 20 years of professional experience with nonprofits.
"We are delighted to welcome Nicole to the Women and Girls Fund team”, said Karie Stupek, chair of the WGF Board of Directors. “Nicole has exhibited great passion for our mission and a desire to help us make an even stronger impact in our community. With Nicole at the helm, 2023 will be a year of growth and influence as we seek to greater serve the needs of women and girls in Waukesha County.
Wagner is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She is an active community volunteer, currently serving on the Waukesha Blazers Baseball Board and volunteers at Waukesha schools. She formerly served on the Waukesha Schools Superintendent Advisory Council, Meadowbrook Elementary School PTA Board and a local Girls Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast troop.

The Women and Girls Fund is dedicated to advancing the health and well-being, self-sufficiency and empowerment of women and girls in Waukesha County. Since its inception in 2004, the WGF has awarded more than $1.4 million in grants to nonprofit organizations focused on improving the lives of women and girls in our community.
