Record Number of Prospective Students Attend Wesleyan Scholars' Weekend  
 
Wesleyan Scholars' Weekend on Dec. 2 welcomed 72 prospective students and their families, up from 35 attendees in 2016. The invitation-only event for high-achieving students with an ACT of 26 or higher featured the Brown Scholarship competition and gave attendees the opportunity to meet faculty, current students, alumni and tour campus.

 
Achievement Scholarship Day on March 10 will offer opportunities for additional scholarships.

Keelan Cole '17 Playoff Bound in Rookie Year
 
Keelan Cole '17 and the Jacksonville Jaguars (10-6) are heading to the NFL Postseason, and the AFC South Champions will host the Buffalo Bills this Sunday in a Wild Card match-up (12:05 p.m. CT). Wesleyan fans will gather for a game watch at Legends (4431 Springhill Drive, Suite E, Owensboro, KY 42303) to watch the first Wesleyan football player to make an NFL 53-man roster in his Playoff debut.
 
Cole appeared in all 16 regular season games during his rookie season, finishing with 42 receptions, 748 yards and three touchdowns. His 17.8 yards per reception ranked second in the NFL.

Celebrating the Christmas Season

We were delighted to express our thanks and celebrate the Christmas season with our President's Circle members during the annual PC Christmas Party hosted at the Miller House on Dec. 14. The support of our leadership donors is recognized with a series of special events throughout the year, allowing our College community to say thank you for their generous support.

Prior to the President's Circle party, Wesleyan was pleased to welcome numerous faculty, staff, alumni and members of our community to the President's Home for our annual Christmas Open House on Friday, Dec. 8.
