3Q Development Update

Each quarter, Brookfield sends out an update for our residents on construction and commercial happenings at Wendell Falls. Click the link below to see the 3Q newsletter.

We want to remind the community that because Wendell Falls is a predominately owner-occupied community, leasing your home is not allowed unless you receive permission from the Board of Directors.

If you have received permission from the Board to lease your home, then the following rules must be followed.

• No signs can be placed within the community or in public rights-of-way next to the community advertising the lease.
• Leases must be in writing and for a minimum of 12 months.
• The entire house must be leased as one unit.
• At least 14 days before the effective date of the lease, the owner must give the Association written intent to lease, including a copy of the lease, the name of the lessee and all occupants, and any other documents the Board may require.

To make any physical or structural changes to the exterior of your home, you must submit a Modification Application and all supporting documents and receive approval from the Design Review Committee (DRC). The DRC has up to 45 days to review and approve all submittals, so to ensure the process is as quick as possible, please review the checklist on the application to ensure you have included all necessary documents.

Completed applications can be handed to a team member in the Association office at the Farmhouse, deposited in the drop box on the lower level, or emailed to wendellfallsnc@ccmcnet.com.

Happy Halloween! Join Elizabeth and Melissa of Cousins’ Creations in the Raleigh Room for a Halloween-themed grazing class. They will have tips about selecting ingredients, using color, and pairing bites while you create your very own charcuterie board (serves up to 2). This event is 21+ and BYOB. Join us Wednesday, November 2, at 6:30 pm in the Raleigh Room for a Kid's Self Defense Class for ages 6-12. Thank you to Nathanael Hunt from Trinity Martial Arts for providing this free class for our Wendell Falls kids. 

Spend the evening with us on November 4 at the Feathered Farm, enjoying the company of friends, family, and GOATS! You get to relax, sip and snack on any treats you bring, and love on the farm animals. This is a 21+ event, and advance purchase tickets are required. Guests will need the code "Wendell Falls" to purchase tickets.

Meet us in the Raleigh Room on Sunday, November 6, at 11:00 am for a fun, informational seminar on The History of Coffee hosted by Sir Walter Coffee. There will also be delicious coffee samples from Workbench Roasters, so RSVP below!

Pop! of Color Fall Trunk Show
