IT'S TIME FOR A HEART CHECK-UP!
The Bible tells us many times that we should have grateful hearts. God knows that grateful hearts will be happy ones, so He has given us detailed instructions about being grateful in His Word. Come to Sunday School and join the fun - we'll go on a Bible Verse Scavenger Hunt and learn more about being grateful. We'll also continue working on our SHINE ART PROJECT! Be sure to wear your SHINE T-SHIRT. Shirts will be available for anyone who hasn't received one. We meet in the Second Floor Music Room at 9:25 a.m.

ATTENTION ALL ST. JOHN’S MEMBERS:
HELP NEEDED!
On Sunday, April 21st, the St. John Gospel Light Chorus from Plymouth, Wisconsin, will sing in our 10:45 a.m. service. Our school's Junior Choir will be singing in the service as well. The 16-member choir of 6th- to 8th-grade students will arrive in LaGrange on Saturday evening, April 20th, and will need housing overnight. Eight hosts are needed to house 14 girls, 2 boys, and their chaperones: 2 students and 1 adult per host. The choir plans to arrive at St. John’s between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to meet their hosts. The director has requested that the children arrive at St. John's by 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning to prepare for the 10:45 a.m. service. No meal preparation will be required of the hosts on Saturday or Sunday.
If you are able to host 2 children and their chaperone, your hospitality would be greatly appreciated!
Please contact Chris Kirchenberg at ckirchenberg73@gmail.com or
Judy Hirt at jgh_@sbcglobal.net to volunteer.

Do you enjoy fresh flowers? Each week the altar is beautified with fresh flowers given by individuals of St. John’s congregation. Flowers may be given in memory or in honor of someone or some occasion, in thanksgiving of something or to the Glory of God. The flowers may be taken home after the Sunday
services for you to enjoy at home or perhaps share with a loved one or someone you wish to share an invitation to worship at St. John’s. The Flower Chart for 2024 is posted in the narthex on the left brick pillar as you walk into the sanctuary. Flowers are $55 for two arrangements. If you wish to sign up for a particular Sunday and someone else has already signed up, we invite you to sign up in addition to another person giving flowers – you can split the $55 cost with the person signed up or purchase an additional two arrangements for $55. Multiple floral arrangements to beautify the altar are always welcome! A member of the Altar Guild will contact you in advance for your dedication.
