April 12th, 2024

Happy Friday SFX!

We celebrated a great first week back from Easter break. At Pledge and Prayer we heard from our 7th Grade students who are running for student council for the 2024-2025 school year. We are impressed with their desire to serve our school community and wish them the best of luck in the election.

We closed out the week in a very special way with Fr. Bob Fambrini, S.J. officially blessing the Fr. Dan Sullivan, S.J. courtyard and plaque. The plaque features a great photo of Fr. Dan and is a true reminder of the gift of our Pledge and Prayer space. In honor of Fr. Dan Sullivan, S.J. we will now refer to the courtyard as "The Sullivan".

Parents will receive some reminder notifications over the weekend, but let's plan ahead with good sleep, good nutrition, and good attitudes as our students prepare to test next week.

Thank you to everyone for your positivity, commitment, and support. Build it up and see you again on Monday.

Peace,

Ryan Watson

Please join us in welcoming Megan Connell back to St. Francis!

Hello St. Francis Xavier Families!

My name is Megan Connell and I am overjoyed to be back at St. Francis Xavier School teaching alongside Mrs. Clarke in the third grade for the 2024-2025 school year. For those who do not know me, here are some tidbits about myself and my family. I am an Arizona Native and attended Sts. Simon and Jude School from Kindergarten through eighth grade. Catholic Education and our beautiful Catholic faith is near and dear to my heart.

My husband Karl and I have been married for almost thirty years and we have two children, Harrison and Olivia. I have 18 years of teaching experience within the diocese and 13 of those years were right here at St. Francis Xavier School. Our family enjoys being out in nature and having adventures in the great outdoors with our fur babies! I am greatly looking forward to being back at St. Francis Xavier in the Fall and seeing all of the wonderful new faces and families along with familiar faces too!
