Happy Friday, SFX!

As things heat up in the desert, we keep a similar flame burning for learning at SFX. Our students understand we are in the homestretch of our 23-24 school year but their positive attitudes and commitment to academic excellence remains strong!

Today we ended the week with an expansion of leadership! Jaxon, Cruz, Luci, and Clementine joined me in the role of principal today. In a very short period of time they made some big improvements to student life - - our fantastic four determined that we will celebrate a Free Dress Day on Monday for all students!

I'd like to give a special shout out to our 8th graders, teachers, and chaperones who had such a great time in Washington DC. They arrived back in Phoenix yesterday evening.

Thank you all for another great week and we look forward to seeing you back on campus Monday morning.

Peace,

Ryan Waston

Congrats to our winners, Seth Dhaenens, Mike Fasel, Sebastien Reyes, and Jude Miller! And a big thank you to Anne Sanford and Ann Coover for putting on such an awesome event.

School Supplies

This year we've partnered with 1st Day School Supplies again to help make your back to school shopping easy.

The online store is open. All you have to do is select your student's grade level for next year, purchase the kit and the supplies will be ready for your student in their classroom on the first day of school. Bonus! For each kit sold, SFX will receive a $5 donation.

If you prefer to go shopping on your own, you're more than welcome to do that too. You can download the supply lists here.

Be a Family for Others! There's an option to donate a kit. This year we're requesting donations for the following grades:

  • Kinder: 1 Boy and 1 Girl
  • 2nd Grade: 1 Boy
  • 3rd Grade (3)
  • 4th Grade (3)
  • 6th Grade (3)
  • 7th Grade (2)
  • 8th Grade (1)

We greatly appreciate your generosity!
