AN IMPORTANT LETTER FROM OUR ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
I hope this letter finds you well and in good spirits. It is with a heavy heart that I must share some challenging news with you all. As many of you may know, I have been navigating the complex and lengthy process of obtaining permanent residency in this country for quite some time. Unfortunately, despite our hopes and prayers, it seems that my current immigration situation has reached a critical point.
I want to inform you that I have been notified that I will have to leave the country in the last week of April if my permanent residency is not approved by that time. This news comes with a mix of emotions, as I have grown to love this community and cherish the relationships we have built together over the short time here. Please know that this decision was not made lightly, and I have explored all possible avenues to resolve this situation.
While this news may be disheartening, I want to reassure you that I am committed to continuing my ministry and service to this parish in any way that I can. If I am forced to leave, I will do everything in my power to stay connected with you all and support the community from afar. I believe in the strength of our faith and the bonds that unite us, and I trust that we will overcome this challenge together.
As I prepare for the coming months and the uncertainties that lie ahead, I ask for your understanding, support, and most importantly, your prayers. Your faith and encouragement have been a source of strength for me throughout this journey, and I am grateful for every one of you. Let us remain hopeful and steadfast in our belief that everything happens for a reason, and that God's plan will unfold in its own time.
Please know that I will keep you updated on any developments regarding my immigration status, and I am hopeful that I will be able to return to this community soon. In the meantime, let us hold each other in our thoughts and prayers, and trust in God's guidance and protection. Thank you for your continued support and understanding during this challenging time.
With faith and gratitude,
Fr. Samuel Inameti
