Next week is Holy Week - history's most important week. In fact, over half of the combined four Gospels focus on this paramount period in the life of Christ.
It is the culmination of our Savior's wonderful work of redemption.
As God's children we will spend time pondering, reflecting and rejoicing over those days: Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter morning. We will be reminded that Jesus took our place as the Lamb of God who took away the sin of the world; and we will, once again, find ourselves in awe at His victory over sin, death, and the devil and HIs resurrection. We will rejoice because His resurrection becomes our new life and resurrection.
It's a week that changed the world; it's a week that changed our own lives.
We pray, that through the efforts of our LeadaChild mission, children all around the world will learn about this most important week... and they will also rejoice in the gift of a new life found in Christ. In your pondering and reflections next week, remember to pray for these children who are coming to faith through the wonderful Gospel message found in this most Holy Week.
