Steven Guilbeault’s latest comments have him in hot water… again.
This time, he accused Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe of “immoral” law-breaking for refusing to remit carbon tax on natural gas heating to Ottawa.
Putting aside the fact the Prime Minister has repeatedly been found to be offside with the law by the Supreme Court recently, did no one on Guilbeault’s team advise him against this line of attack?
After all, this is the same guy who was convicted of a criminal offence for climbing the CN Tower and causing $50,000 of damage during a protest. (He escaped another conviction a year later when he broke into Premier Ralph Klein’s property and terrified his wife, who thought he was a home invader.)
And, it’s not like this is Guilbeault’s only recent brain fart. In fact, it’s just the latest in a string of embarrassing outbursts from Canada’s embattled Environment and Climate Change Minister.
Reasons for him to stay are as difficult to find as a needle in a haystack.

Alberta has committed to legislation banning the form of child abuse known as surgical and chemical sex-change.
That’s one government down.
The man likely to become our next Prime Minister, Poilievre, has said he agrees with Smith's policy, but has not yet committed to introducing federal legislation if his party wins the next election.
We need to move him to the point of promising federal legislation. . . . . . and we think he’s very close!

There are 12 other provinces and territories who haven’t yet made any commitment to follow Alberta’s lead.
In total, that’s 13 leaders we need to push even harder to give parents the legislative commitments they’re demanding across Canada.

Canadian Organization Provides a New Freedom Symbol
In my role as the director of Strong And Free Canada, I have several times in the past two years considered some sort of symbol those of us in the freedom movement could wear in order to recognize each other.
I was very pleased, at the recent Reclaiming Canada Conference in Victoria to meet Sophie Siebert of Tulips 4 Freedom.
Sophie and her partner Leslie-Anne Goodall chose the tulip for the red, which symbolizes love, and green, which symbolizes hope and regeneration. In addition, they point out that tulips are often seen in large numbers, reflecting the fact that we are the freedom-oriented majority, despite what mainstream propaganda would have people believe.

The tulip on their buttons has three peaks, mimicking the three peaks of our maple leaf, each peak being a reference to the Atlantic, Arctic and Pacific oceans which bound our country.
Finally, there is a historical element. The Netherlands gifted 100,000 tulips to Canada at the end of WW2 as a thank you for Canada’s part in their liberation and regained freedoms.
So far, over 20,000 tulip buttons, some featuring various slogans, have been distributed.
