Renzetti Inc introduced the Traveler Series Vise to the world in 1988. It offered the True Rotary feature Renzetti Inc is known for, as well as portability, unquestionable hook holding power, and an affordable price. Since then it has become the most popular vise in the world.

In our constant quest for perfection, the Traveler Series Vises have undergone some major improvements like the cam jaws for faster tying, the incorporation of a larger base, and a longer base stem. What we did not change is its distinctive Bent Shaft, a Trademark of Renzetti Vises Reg 2535148, praised for its unmatched strong hook holding power and versatility. The Traveler 2000 is not anodized and to fully utilize its custom features, it must be ordered for a right-handed or left-handed tier.

Pat's passion for fishing started a very young age. Having grown up in Ohio he cut his teeth on anything and everything that would eat a fly. As kid he was fortunate enough to spend a lot of time saltwater fishing on both the east and west coast of Florida quickly becoming addicted to all things saltwater. By the time he graduated high school he knew that fishing was all he ever wanted to do. Since then he has made his living as a guide, fly tyer, instructor and travel host for Mad River Outfitters. While he targets many different species, it is the predatory fish that hold a special place in his heart. Musky, Smallmouth Bass, Peacock Bass and LA Redfish are his favorites. His fly tying has been influenced by so many great tyers most notably Bob Popovics, Blane Chocklett, and Larry Dahlberg.

The Commemorative Grand Master Series is a collection of the iconic Master Vise. It is hand polished just like it was when introduced back in 1993 and incorporates a host of accessories many of which were inspired by input from luminaries like the late Lefty Kreh, Bob Popovics, Bob Clouser, David Whitlock, Nick Curcione, Blane Chocklett and Rusty Gates, to name just a few. There is a C-clamp lap extension, C-clamp, AuSable speed crank, spinning attachment, Clouser minnow arm, streamer pedestal bench, 3-inch stem extension, and midge jaws. All these components are encased in Gary’s elegant, handcrafted cigar-style wooden box signed by Andy with the 50th year anniversary logo lasered engraved on the lid.
