  The Timba Underground presents "Timba Throwback" - a night of classic Timba hits from the 90s and 00s with the dynamic DJ Walt Digz and joined by special guest dance instructor Denmis Bain Savigne

Embark on a journey of rhythm and movement at The East Bay Community Space: 507 55th St., where the Timba celebration knows no bounds.

Doors swing open at 7:00 PM - snacks and beverages and the mellow sounds of Bossa Nova, Son, Salsa and more

8:00 - 9:00 PM: Join Denmis Bain Savigne for a fun Casino Partnering class.

From 9:00 PM until 1:00 AM: DJ Walt Digz spinning all the classic Timba hits from the 90s and 00s.

Admission:

$15 for the class and the party

$10 for entry to the party alone

Please be competent in our basics as either a lead or a follow.

Basics 1: pa’l medio/son montuno/pa’ bajo, exhibe/DQN, enchufla/vacila

Basics 2: pasea + variations, coca cola, enchufla/vacila with walk

Basics 3: leading and following without pushing, pulling, grabbing, or leading DQNs by the waist
