THE THIRD SUNDAY OF EASTER (B)

April 14, 2024
at 8:00 a.m.
and 10:00 a.m.
Dear Friends,

One of the greatest blessings which the Early Church experienced following the Resurrection was the reality of "Community." It has been argued that community, along with worship, and service, were the three real hallmarks of that Church. Today we explore the reality of Beloved Community by focusing on Radical Welcome and Inclusion. As we see each week on our Bulletin, "There is Room at the Table for ALL God's Children."

The Collect for
The Third Sunday of
Easter
.
O God,
whose blessed Son
made himself known to his disciples
in the breaking of bread:
Open the eyes of our faith,
that we may behold him
 in all his redeeming work;
who lives and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever. Amen.

The Collect for Saint Thomas the Apostle

Ever living God, who strengthened your Apostle, Thomas,
with firm and certain faith in your Son’s resurrection:
Grant us so perfectly, and without doubt, to believe
in Jesus Christ, our Lord and our God,
that our faith may never be found wanting in your sight;
through him who lives and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
