Dr. Jill Elliot is retiring from our practice but will continue to see patients in her New York City office.
We are welcoming Dr. Vanessa Moore to our practice, please see her bio below.

 Join us in saying goodbye to Dr. Jill Elliot! Dr. Elliot will be retiring from Holistic Pet Care. We'd like to thank her for the excellent care that she has provided to our clients over the years. We will miss her! Dr. Elliot will continue working 3 days a week in New York City. Her website is www.nyholisticvet.com Any clients who want to continue seeing Dr. Elliot should come into our office and sign a medical release form so that we may forward your pet's medical records to her NYC office. We will be having a goodbye party for her on Thursday, August 15th for those who wish to stop by and wish her well. Please call our office for the details.

Holistic Pet Care will be hosting a Raw Food talk and demonstration by Donna Eldridge and Gil Cohen, certified "Living on Live Food" instructors. Sept 29th, Sunday: Eleventh Hour Rescue is hosting its 9th annual Puptoberfest! Puptoberfest is a fun filled event for dogs and the people who love them. There will be live entertainment from the Frantic Band and WDHA/WMTR , games, contests, fashion shows, adopters parade, doggy fashion show and much more!

OUR VETS
Dr. Gerald Buchoff
received his M.S. in Immunology from Rutgers University. He received his doctorate of Veterinary Medicine BVSc AH from G.B. Pant University in India. He has completed numerous courses in alternative modalities including, Homeopathy, Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (Chiropractic), Acupuncture, Glandular Nutrition Therapy, Low Level or Cold Laser Treatment and Reiki.
Before opening Holistic Pet Care, Dr. Buchoff owned and operated North Bergen Animal Hospital for 20 years. He was president of the Northern New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association, and president of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Vanessa Moore
Dr. Vanessa Moore grew up in Clifton, New Jersey. She began developing strong connections with animals at a young age by reading their body language and respecting their needs. Over the years she has owned and/or taken care of everything from chinchillas, snakes, turtles, and birds to dogs, cats, and horses.
Dr. Moore studied Pre-Veterinary Medicine at Cook College at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. She attended Veterinary School at The Ohio State University. She graduated at the top of her class in 2003. Dr. Moore then traveled to Canada for an internship at an Equine referral surgery center. For the past 9 years Dr. Moore has been a busy equine practitioner with a particular skill for lameness, ophthalmology, acupuncture, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has been performing acupuncture in dogs, cats, horses, and goats for the past 3 years.
