Sit with your family and complete a Family Emergency Plan

Less than one-third of US households have either gathered or updated their emergency supplies. Talk to your family about what to do during emergencies, such as hurricanes, prolonged power outages, tornado and other hazards.

It’s also important that you review your property’s insurance coverage policies. Practice your plan with your household members, and be sure to update your plan regularly.
