This morning, the Department of the Interior announced the establishment of the Hunting and Wildlife Conservation Council, a Federal Advisory Committee dedicated to advancing the interests of America’s sportsmen and women. This announcement demonstrates the Administration’s continued support for America’s 55 million sportsmen and women and recognizes the important role that hunters, anglers, trappers, and recreational shooters maintain in conservation.
