Every child deserves the opportunity to experience some of the positive things the world has to offer, especially as their mind continues to develop. You can be the one to provide these opportunities.
With your gift, you will give a child the chance to participate in educational and enrichment activities this summer. You can be the one to sponsor a teen’s first trip to the art museum, a child’s first baseball game, or a day out in nature, hiking and enjoying the fresh air.
Enriching activities are critically important for positive development and provide an opportunity to help a child reduce stress and heal from some of the difficulties from the past. Plus, these activities give a child the chance to experience fun and joy.
With your gift, you will be the one to give a child the chance to broaden their horizons this summer. Donate here to make this summer a special one for a child in need.

Monetary donations designated for “where most needed” provide for some unforeseen costs for families and individuals. Unexpected costs take many forms, from covering the price of a driver’s education course for an adult looking to widen their career options, assisting a young adult with a security deposit on their first apartment, or ensuring that a teenager could keep taking their prescription medication when they suddenly lost their health insurance.
The goal for people in the care of Center For Family Services is to ensure that the individual has the tools, skills, and resources that they need to establish a bright and self-sufficient future. Through your generous donations, an individual in your community can more easily overcome challenges that they face as they learn, heal, and grow.
To support a member of your community in this way, visit the donate page here and be sure to donate “where most needed”.
Thank you for investing in a brighter future!

Sweet Dreams in New Sleepwear | |
Kids will be ready for a good night’s sleep, thanks to the help of Boy’s Pajama Drive and Will B. who collected pajamas for the children in our programs. To many children living in safe homes in New Jersey, receiving a gift like new pajamas makes them feel remembered and cared for during a difficult time of transition in their lives. Because of your generous donation, kids in your community will feel supported and thought of.
Thank you for your many years of support to caregivers and kids during the bedtime routine. Your gift makes sweet dreams possible!

Joyce F. and folks from the Gloucester County Education Association as well as Kavya P. and her organization, Tampon Express, gave back to women in New Jersey during Women’s History Month. Many people in the care of Center For Family Services are experiencing difficult life circumstances and may not always have access to crucial items for their personal care. Because of your generous donations of period supply pouches, pads, tampons, and other important personal hygiene items, you are helping to alleviate period poverty in your community.
Thank you for your dedication to uplifting women and girls!

She Runs Wild, a running group led by Beth C., collected important items for women in safe homes. This group of strong, caring women spent the first few months of the year gathering items that are essential to personal health and wellness. Because of your dedication and hard work the last few months, women experiencing a challenging time will be provided the things they need care for themselves and their families.
Thank you for uplifting others in your community!

Ron Jaworski & Pizza Hut made a tremendous difference for children living in safe homes in New Jersey with a generous donation of 500 duffle bags. Many of the children and teens are placed in shelter care on short notice, sometimes in the middle of the night, and tote their belongings in plastic garbage bags because there is no other option, but thanks to your support, there is another option.
Children may be in the care of safe homes for any number of reasons- coming from unsafe or unsupportive family situations, extended time couch surfing or being unhoused, behavioral concerns, their parents’ or guardians’ actions, or any other change in custody or safety. Because of you, these duffle bags allow children and teens to begin their transition into care with dignity. This bag will remain with them so they have a sensible means of transportation when they are reunited with their family, or move into another safe alternative.
Thank you for ensuring the dignity of children and teenagers in your community!

Mentoring Can Change A Life |
Meet Emily T., a mentor in the Mercer County area. Emily began mentoring in 2022 and works with two young people in need of extra support. When Emily began working with her first mentee, he wasn’t attending school and wasn’t hopeful about his future.
After many months working together, his relationship with school improved, he resumed attending regularly, and now he has a more positive outlook on life.
With her second mentee, she and Emily are working on the goals to obtain a high school diploma and finding employment.
Emily helped her mentee secure 1-on-1 instruction from a teacher and now her mentee is on her way to earning her diploma. More doors are open for this young woman thanks to her dedication and Emily’s perseverance.
Emily is also a resource to the program, helping with recruitment and sharing her story with the community. She inspires others to mentor a young person of their own and she is a stand-out example of the impact one supportive adult can make in the life of a teenager.
Thank you, Emily, for your dedication and all you do to make a difference.
Learn how you can become a mentor and change a life here.

Art Therapy from American Water |
Introducing art into therapy is an effective method to ease someone into talking about difficult feelings, or reflecting inward. This useful practice is made possible by donors like the folks as American Water, who recently packed Healing Through Arts kits with helpful tools such as markers, Play-Doh, coloring books, and more. Your support ensures that people in your community have access to the items that they need to continue therapeutic practices at home and at no cost.
Thank you for your dedication to helping others heal!

The Amazon Burlington team, led by Alexa M., donated two pallets worth of home goods to support moms in transition. Thank you for your help with bedding, sheets, towels, hygiene items, and more – all of which support a mom when she transitions to living independently with her kids. These essential home goods are crucial to making a home safe and welcoming for a family.
The items you donated help empower women as they heal and work toward self-sufficiency!

Employees at Campbell Soup worked hard to pack and deliver over 70 Backpack Care Kits for folks in the neighboring community. Because of your support, individuals facing a challenging time in their lives can provide for their personal care needs. The backpacks, packed with vital items like soap, socks, brushes, and more allow someone in your community to feel not only prepared to care for their needs, but also have the dignity to do so as well.
Thank you for your commitment to supporting others in your Camden Community!
