From Garage to Global: Aventure Aviation's Inspiring Journey

Aventure Aviation is truly a Peachtree City success story.

The company started right here in our town, 23 years ago, in CEO Zaheer Faruqi's garage. Aventure has continued its expansion and growth over the past two decades, opening up a 16,000-square-foot headquarters in 2008 and being named one of Inc. Magazine's fastest growing private companies in 2011. Aventure's new HQ is currently under construction near Atlanta Regional Airport at Falcon Field.

From a garage to a global success story, Aventure Aviation is a shining example of Peachtree City's entrepreneurial spirit. Here's to many more years of innovation!

Enhancing Water Quality

Stormwater runoff containing excessive amounts of pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers is a significant threat to water quality. There are several things one can do to protect the water quality in our lakes and streams:

  • Limit the use of pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers.
  • Do not apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers if heavy rain is predicted.
  • Rather than broadcasting herbicides, spot-treat only those areas that contain weeds.
  • Maintain a small lawn and keep the rest of your property or yard in a natural state with trees and other native vegetation that require little or no fertilizer.
  • Make sure to properly dispose of any unused portions. Do not dump pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers down a storm drain.
