A Message From Our Head of School
Mrs. Debra Freeburn
It is my pleasure to be a part of The Silver Academy!!! Thank you for sending your children to OUR school and recommending us to other families. Together we have the unique opportunity to showcase our school and the achievements of our students. Our success will be driven by the core beliefs that all students can learn, that relationships are central to success, and that all of our students are gifts whose contributions are invaluable to our community. Parents and families are integral partners in their child's education, and their involvement in school and activities will contribute to The Silver Academy becoming the premier private Jewish day school in Pennsylvania.

Yasminah Huberman, Kindergarten Judaics Teacher
Yasminah is a NJ native who comes from a family of educators. Her paternal grandfather was a Rabbi who educated Jews of Color, and her parents were teachers. After having assisted her mother with her kindergarten class, Yasminah knew that she would dedicate her life to education. Since then she has been a teacher in South Jersey, Philadelphia, Israel, and Canada. Morah Huberman also enjoys tutoring students one-on-one. Yasminah and her husband moved to Harrisburg in 2016 and now have a beautiful daughter. She looks forward to teaching kindergarten Judaics at The Silver Academy!
