In Loving Memory
Joyce Crowell donated in memory of her beloved cat Patches. Joyce, along with Winnie Flowers, are SNSI's co-founders. Joyce remains true to SNSI's mission of addressing the root cause of shelter overpopulation.
A Time for Giving
SNSI is pleased to be included in this year's Indianapolis Business Journal (IBJ) Giving Guide, an annual publication that provides valuable information about non-profit organizations. Look for SNSI on pages 84-85, along with many other wonderful non-profits. We hope that you will share information about SNSI with those in your networks looking for worthwhile causes to support. This is the first time SNSI has been included  in the guide, with the goal of educating more people across Indiana about our programs that save animal lives through spay-neuter. Check out the IBJ Giving Guide here.

Puppies and Mamas and Kittens, Oh My!
Last month was a VERY busy time for rescue groups across Indiana, and SNSI was more than happy to help. As a financial assistance organization, SNSI's mission  focuses on getting spay-neuter resources to those who are in the trenches helping dogs  and cats.

When Caring Canine Animal Rescue in Coal City took in three pregnant dogs that gave birth to litters within days of one another, with two more pregnant dogs scheduled to  come in, they turned to SNSI for help. We all know that getting those five mama-dogs  and all their pups spayed and neutered is the solution to communities challenged with  shelter overpopulation.

Hope Haven Canine Rescue in Moorseville also asked SNSI for help when a dog, Arizona (pictured), gave birth to 11 adorable puppies. And, SNSI was able to issue 730 Community Cat Program certificates to 25 groups across Indiana to help trap-neuter-return feral and free-roaming cats.

These cats are  now in the care of "colony caretakers" who will provide food, shelter, and affection to  them for the duration of their lives. This program also saves limited shelter space for  pets that are more readily adoptable.

Helping all these animals wouldn't be possible without the generous donations of animal lovers across the state who generously give. During this holiday season,  consider a tax-deductible gift of any size to SNSI so that we can continue to assist groups and save more animal lives.
Treat Your Tails Assists Over 400 Hoosier Pets

Each October (and February), SNSI works with a set of mission-driven vets to provide low-cost spay-neuters to people who don't meet our strict income guidelines, but may need financial assistance.

As we work to tally the results of our Treat Your Tails campaign, SNSI is pleased that over 400 dogs and cats were fixed during October!
