September 29th marked our first Town Hall where members gathered online as Executive Director Lisa Porter provided exciting highlights from year one, and shared WE-SPARK’s focus areas for the upcoming year. Thank you to all our members for participating.

Lisa Porter delivered a keynote during a recent MedHealth event. MedHealth is a regional collaboration across Southeast Michigan and Southwest Ontario. You can watch and listen as Lisa shares WE-SPARK updates, and the impact we have made in our first year.

We are continuously evolving our website and excited to profile WE-SPARK’s Core Principal Members - those who have a formal affiliation with one of our four partner institutions, and are funded by provincial or national health projects, or lead a clinical trial. Read their profiles here.

Virtual Think Tank Series Begins
|
Our virtual Think Tank series kicked off on October 9th. Thank you to our presenters Laura D'Alimonte, Windsor Regional Hospital, Hali Sitarz, St. Clair College, and Meaghan Wunder, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, and the 44 participants for helping us move ideas forward! Degrees & Appointments
Hali Sitarz, Professor at St. Clair College in the Collaborative Nursing Program (BScN) has completed her PhD in Nursing. Hali received her doctoral education from Walden University. Her dissertation is entitled “Understanding the Experiences of Young Adults Receiving Eating Disorder Care in the Community”. Congratulations Dr. Sitarz!
