The Relay is Back!

To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Air Force Marathon, the relay has returned to our schedule of events! A team of three will complete the marathon course, with relay exchange zones at approximately miles 8 and 17, on Saturday, September 18th. Tell Us Your Story

Whether you are running or walking the marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, Tailwind Trot, 3-Person Marathon Relay, or Fly! Fight! Win! Challenge Series we know you have a story and we want to hear it. Why do you run? When did you start running? What do you love about running? What is the hardest part when training for a race? Expo Vendor Registration Now Open

Vendors will have the opportunity to promote and sell their products and/or services to thousands of runners, health & fitness enthusiasts and spectators at the Air Force Marathon Health & Fitness Expo. The expo offers merchandise sales opportunities, sampling, running clinics, stage floor/demonstration opportunities, and more. Our professional staff will work with your organization to help you achieve your marketing goals and ensure promotional success. The Air Force Marathon Health & Fitness Expo is free and open to the public.

Expo Hours of Operation:

Thursday, September 16th, 2021 | 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Friday, September 17th, 2021 | 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Lead Volunteer Opportunities

Do you want to get more involved as a volunteer with the Air Force Marathon? Do you have excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills? If so, we are currently looking for individuals to serve as lead volunteers in the following areas:

  • 5K Food Tent & Finish Line
  • Tailwind Trot Kids' Run
  • Guest Speaker Handler
  • Honored Guest Tent
  • Green Team
  • Race Day Awards
  • & more!
We are also looking for individuals to assist our lead volunteers as assistant leads in a variety of volunteer areas. Our assistant lead volunteers help with the organization and management of each volunteer area.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Lead and assistant lead volunteers may need to be available for multiple days during the Air Force Marathon event in September depending on the opportunity.
Blue Streak Time Trial Update

Registration for the April 13th Blue Streak Time Trial is now open! The 2021 events will be held every second Tuesday of the month April through October. Learn more & register at bluestreaktt.com.
History & Heritage Race Series Update

Good luck to all 550+ participants running in the P-26A Peashooter virtual race! The third featured aircraft of this brand new series will be revealed on April 1st. Learn more & register at usafvirtual.com.
The 25th Annual Air Force Marathon, presented by Northrop Grumman, USAA, and Boeing is scheduled for Saturday, September 18th, 2021. The Health & Fitness Expo is scheduled for Thursday, September 16th and Friday, September 17th. Race weekend will also feature a Breakfast of Champions and Gourmet Pasta Dinner on Friday, September 17th. Don't miss out on the Air Force Marathon After Party scheduled for Saturday, September 18th too!
