Daylight Savings Time

This Sunday, March 10, we will Spring Forward by turning our clocks forward one hour. The official time change occurs at 2:00 AM, but no need to stay up late. Just move your clocks forward one hour before you go to bed and you'll be all set! As a result, sunrise and sunset will occur an hour later. While this means one hour less sleep on Monday, it also signals the beginning of longer days!

Our smart phones and watches will automatically change, but you will need to manually adjust your analog clocks and watches as well as clocks on appliances.

"How can I help keep our community safe?"

During the development of any Association, we want to make sure that we get started on the right foot with preventative safety measures and bringing the community together as a team. To ensure safety within our community, our best resources are each other!

Awareness: It is important to keep your eyes and ears peeled for suspicious activity in the community. As a developing community, we have many guests that do not live in the community. It can be tough to decipher who is welcome in the community and who is not, so keep in mind that the City of McKinney has construction working hours of 6AM-9PM Monday through Friday, and contractors must give 48-hour notice to any work done on the weekends. We should be on high alert from 9PM to 6AM, for those of us that are onsite during that time.

Painted Tree Residential Association: The Association is working on a few different measures to add a sense of safety in the community. The best way to create a safety net is to get to know your neighbors! We highly encourage coming to Community Engagement Events, reaching out to new neighbors you see moving in, and starting communication from day 1! Additionally, we have reached out to McKinney Police Department regarding some events to include our local law enforcement and finding ways to create a Neighborhood Watch for the community
