The WICT Network is thrilled to once again open Diversity Week 2024 with our annual Leadership Conference. This year’s theme, Fueling Your Power and Purpose, takes center stage.

Our distinguished speakers, drawn from diverse backgrounds and spanning industries, academia and thought leadership, will address how to cultivate resilience, adaptability and authenticity, critical characteristics for effective leadership in a dynamic industry marked by rapid change.

In-person attendees can expect an engaging lineup of general sessions, interactive workshops, expert panels, one-on-one coaching sessions and ample opportunities for peer-to-peer networking.

Virtual attendees will have access to all general sessions live-streamed, select live-streamed breakout sessions, and the live-streamed Touchstones Luncheon. One-on-one coaching and networking opportunities will be offered virtually as well.

EmpowerHER: A Returnship Program

for Women Re-Entering the Workforce

**Application deadline extended to Thursday, May 2**

The WICT Network has launched its highly anticipated Returnship Program designed to empower women considering a return to the workforce after an extended career sabbatical. It is an opportunity for women interested in re-joining the workforce to re-engage while learning about the changing shape of the new workforce ecosystem.



The Returnship Program is a highly immersive experience slated to take place over a two-week period in June. The launch week is being offered in a virtual format (June 4-6) and participants will meet in-person the second week (June 10-13) in New York City.

Earlier this month, The WICT Network held an exciting celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the PAR workplace diversity survey during the Signature Luncheon. In celebration of the anniversary, we created a special recognition for the six companies that have most consistently ranked at the top based on their PAR survey results. 

The WICT Network’s Vice Chair, Michelle Rice, President of TV One and CLEO TV, opened the program for the packed audience of hundreds of friends and supporters who came together at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York. Rice invited Stephanie Ruhle, renowned MSNBC journalist, to join her on the stage for an insightful and powerful fireside chat.

Following the lunch service, The WICT Network’s Global Board Chair Leigh Woisard and President & CEO Maria Brennan took to the stage to celebrate 20 years of the PAR Initiative, and present the Platinum PAR Awards to the deserving honorees. As Leigh stated, “This milestone allows us to reflect on the profound impact the PAR Survey has had in shaping corporate cultures and driving meaningful and measurable progress.” Maria echoed this sentiment, adding, “We are thrilled to also use this occasion to applaud six companies that have most consistently risen to the top of the PAR Survey over the last 20 years.”
