Dana Goldman Named Dean of USC Price School

Dr. Dana P. Awards and Recognition

Anna Cockrell (MPP ‘21) made the U.S. Olympic Track and Field team in the 400m hurdles. She was also named the 2021 Honda Sports Award winner for Track and Field. Nicole Yeargin (BRED ‘21) also qualified for the Tokyo Olympics in the 400m hurdles. Yeargin, who is Scottish, will represent Team GB.   Rit Shukla (MPP ‘22) wrote about COVID-19’s disproportionate impact on Hispanic communities for the Kennedy School Review at Harvard University. EMUP alumnus Colin Montoute, AIA, was named WXY Architecture + Urban Design’s new Director of Architecture. The University of Chicago Press published “Congress and the First Civil Rights Era, 1861-1918,” which Provost Professor Jeffery Jenkins co-authored.

The Sacramento Bee featured an op-ed by Gary Painter on California's need for homeless housing solutions beyond Project Homekey.   FiveThirtyEight quoted Rosalie Pacula on the need for effective cannabis testing labs. The Orange County Register quoted Richard Green and featured research from the USC Lusk Center that predicted apartment rents in Southern California.   Los Angeles Magazine quoted Erroll Southers on the creation of the LEWIS Registry.
