Buffalo Prep Summer Programming Begins!
High School Prep students in math class at Allen Hall
Buffalo Prep's summer programs started July 6, 2021! We now have three sites operating around the city of Buffalo aimed at supporting talented underrepresented youth: Prep Scholars Academy at The Belle Center, Middle School Prep at Nichols Middle School, and High School Prep at Allen Hall on the University at Buffalo South Campus.

Over 200 rising 6th-9th graders are participating in our academic enrichment programs for five weeks this summer, Monday-Friday from 8:30pm-4pm. These programs are designed to set students on the path to higher education by strengthening their academic skills while they are in their crucial middle school years.

Prep Scholars Academy Opens at The Belle Center
Buffalo Prep hosted a celebration for the opening of its newest program, Prep Scholars Academy, on Wednesday, July 14 at The Belle Center. Prep Scholars Academy is a community-based summer enrichment program for middle school students seeking to succeed in their academics and pursue a college education. The inaugural program site at The Belle Center supports students with bilingual instruction who reside in the west side neighborhood.

The program will provide a minimum of four years of academic preparation and comprehensive social-emotional support and help students select and transition into a high school that is right for them, identified via one-on-one counseling. Major funders of Prep Scholars Academy include Bank of America, Cullen Foundation, Rich Products, Rodriguez Construction Group, and Unifrax.

Check out the coverage from News 4 WIVB and Spectrum News 1 highlighting the celebration!
