You are entering the next phase.

This moment in time is all about THE EDIT.

You cannot flip a switch and return to what was, because what was is not what is. As you navigate out of the past year, it is important to note that you are not the same person coming through this as you were entering it.

You have changed. You have grown. Everyone has. Transformation is now chic, and recalibrating is necessary.

Modifying and redefining what is important to you NOW

Who and what stay front and center in your life?

How is location leading you at work and at play?

What is negotiable?

How will you give voice to and create boundaries around new rules that you curate and drive?

THE EDIT begins with decision-making that aligns and connects you with head and heart and with choices that reflect an updated and in-the-moment personal and professional version of yourself.

Think of this as a collective effort. Family edits. Friend edits. Workplace edits. Closet edits. Social media edits. Conversation edits.

When you edit, you tighten up the script. You rewrite from today. You expand outward from the inside out. You make room for what is important, because what is important has changed and you are focused on honoring that.

At the foundation of THE EDIT is a simple decision. Where do you want your energy to be? Your energy investment either positive or negative will lead you, so now is the time to manage and fine-tune it.

3 Ways to Edit Now:

1.    Make a Pro & Con List: Stuck on making a decision? Weight out the positives and negatives by creating a working list that supports you in differentiating fact from fiction. Simple and to the point, documenting what works and what you believe may not is a stellar way to pull back or push ahead on people, projects, time-management, and your daily to-do. What stays and what goes?
2.    Follow Your Intuition: That voice in your head, or that feeling in your soul is having a moment right now. So much has changed already. Fine-tuning what best aligns with who you are now involves connecting to what makes you smile, what may actually be possible, to the things you have never done before, or simply want to do more of. Following your intuition is making decisions that shift your actions and move you closer to what you most want. The biggest muscle here is trust. Work from there.
3.    Lead Your Goals: If you are following your intuition, this enables you to lead your goals! Think in terms of mini goal bursts. Setting agendas daily that support an overall theme and allowing yourself to marry today and to-do to self-lead provides space for the edits and the changes you most need as you recalibrate this phase of pandemic/post pandemic.
