Tips and Reminders


o DO NOT edit any data in the grey fields. Update College ID in the first yellow column (K).


o School Profile Section: Cost of Attendance should be for the semester, not annual.


o If your institution has no on-campus housing: Enter same amounts as living with parents (on-campus section).


o Edits/Additions: Once EVR is submitted, it cannot be edited. Submit new report with ONLY Scholars that need to be added/edited, deleting all other Scholars’ info.


o Course Withdrawals: Still list as either Part or Full-time

  • List number of credits for which tuition and fee are being requested.
  • If listed as not enrolled or “0” credits, no payment will be calculated.

How to monitor application statuses:

 

Visit your Partner College ISTS Portal and run the National Applicant Report.

 

Applicants should monitor the status of their application on their home page at https://aim.applyISTS.netThey should allow 5 to 7 business days after submitting for ISTS to verify transcripts.

SUCCESS 2024: Last Call to Register by Friday, Feb 16th

Over 20 of our Partner Colleges will be attending the SUCCESS 2024 Convening at Rice University on Friday, March 29 through Saturday, March 30. Agenda is available here.


We are almost at capacity and conducting a last call to register by February 16th.

We deeply understand the concerns as an impacted individual and/or as a practitioner traveling with undocumented students to Texas. Here are 2 upcoming sessions that will provide more information and guidance.

  • Traveling to Texas Informational Session – February 14, 6 pm EST, hosted by Presidents’ Alliance on Higher Education and Immigration. Registration link here.
  • Train-the-Trainer KYR: Supporting Communities in the Aftermath of SB4/HB4 - February 22, 7 pm EST, co-hosted by the Texas Organizing Project & Resilient Advocates Collective, with support from Immigrant Legal Resource Center & WooriJuntos. Registration link here.

  • Implementation and impact of TheDream.US Internship Funding Program and Fellowship Programs on providing Non-Employment Based Opportunities for Scholars on- and off-campus

TheDream.US celebrates its 10-Year Anniversary this year!

TheDream.US celebrated its tenth anniversary last week at an event at the National Museum of American History.


The joyous and inspirational evening featured speeches from TheDream.US Scholars and alumni, reflections from TheDream.US President & CEO Gaby Pacheco and TheDream.US co-founders Henry Muñoz, Secretary Carlos Gutierrez, and Don Graham; and even one of the organization’s Alumna, Cesia Bulnes, singing the national anthem.

SCHOLAR PROGRAMMING

This Thursday: "ITINs Open Doors" Session #1 of 2

Encourage your Scholars to attend an “ITINs Open Doors – How Do I Get One?” session to learn more about ITINs, how to determine if they already have an ITIN, and steps to apply for an ITIN. Attendees can also ask any ITIN-related questions.


The first session is
