Alexandra, founder of A Learning Community (ALC), concludes our 8-week video series, “I am an Immigrant Entrepreneur,” celebrating and sharing the stories of entrepreneurial Alumni.

Apply for TheDream.US Internship and/or Fellowship Program and Receive up to $30,000!

We invite you to sign up and participate in TheDream.US Internship Funding Program

and/or TheDream.US Experiential Fellowship Program to provide inclusive, paid opportunities to your Scholars! Partner Colleges can receive up to $15,000 per program. Deadline to apply is EOD Friday, May 17.


  1. Read TheDream.US Internship & Fellowship Program Brief for information on both programs. Review the Program’s Concept Paper and watch the webinar recording.
  2. Determine a Primary Program Point of Contact (POC) and a Secondary Program POC.
  3. FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM ONLY: Craft a 1-2 page Concept Paper outlining your Program.
  4. Primary POC completes PC Program Participation Application by EOD Friday, May 17

Within 1 week of submitting your Participation Application, a Kickoff Email will be sent to the Primary and Secondary POCs. Once Kickoff Email is received, PC can start promoting the program. Questions? Email nicole.wesley@thedream.us. To view list of current participating PCs, click here.

PC Career Development Event Fund is Back! (Apply now, while funds last)

Apply for up to $2,000 to host your own Career Development Event for Scholars regardless of work authorization. Events should focus on NEBOS, entrepreneurship, small business ownership, and independent contract work.

We're Hiring: Scholarships Program Manager

TheDream.US is seeking to fill the Scholarships Program Manager role (remote). We are looking for a dynamic team member who can effectively manage the complexities of scholarship program administration.

Here are some of the qualifications:

  • 5+ years of operations and/or scholarship program management experience
  • Deep commitment to serving immigrant youth
  • Bilingual candidates fluent in English and Spanish preferred
  • Excellent communication skills

Please share with your networks. We will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis. The position is subject to state pay transparency laws and regional pay differences.

Ignite Fellowship Application Open Now

Please encourage your Scholars to apply for Teach for America’s Ignite Fellowship for Fall 2024! Ignite is a virtual, paid, part-time tutoring fellowship sponsored by Teach For America. 

Who can apply:

The fellowship is open to all TheDream.US Scholars who have an ITIN or SSN (work authorization is not required), have at least a 2.5 GPA, and meet other eligibility criteria. Fellows receive $1,200 per semester. All majors are welcome!

Key dates:

  • Application Deadline – Wednesday, April 24 at 11:59 pm
  • Fall Fellowship Dates: September – December 2024

Sui, a relentless champion of immigrants, will be providing general feedback and guidance on scholar's immigration questions for the first 30 minutes of our session.
