ORDINATION AND INSTALLATION SERVICE

SUNDAY, JUNE 30 at 3:00 PM

All Faith family members, our Antioch community and our WELS brothers and sisters of our neighboring ministries are all invited to join us for the service of Ordination and Installation of our new Pastor Zackary Zuberbier.

Worship will begin at 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 30 a light reception will follow worship in the commons and on the front plaza of our church campus (weather permitting).

If you are not able to join us in person, please join us in prayers of thanksgiving to the Lord of the Church for the blessing of this new kingdom partner working among us.

A basket for cards and gifts for you to welcome our new pastor will be placed in the commons for all of the worship services that weekend.

CHILDREN'S SUNDAY SCHOOL

Pre-K-6th Grade

Topic: God Restores His People

Learn how God led his people to the Promised Land through his faithful servants: Moses, judges, and kings of Israel. Lessons include activities, songs, and crafts!

ADULT BIBLE CLASS

Grade 7+ and Adults

New Topic: “My Life for the Kingdom”

This 10-week course (based on Genesis chapters 37-50) uses the life of Joseph and his family to help students discover the ways God graciously equips them to bless others and how he uses evil intentions for the good of his people.

SUMMER BIBLE STUDY OPPORTUNITIES

In addition to Sunday morning Christian Education Hour (Adult Bible Class and Sunday School), Wisdom of the Ages, and Men's Breakfast Bible Study are still in session throughout the summer season. More information on these Bible study opportunities will be available in the days and weeks ahead.

VOLUNTEER/SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

GREEN TEAM

Do you have teens who need service hours? Would you like to help them meet their goals AND save the church money while getting some fresh air and sunshine? Volunteering on a Green Team may be the answer!

TELLERS

Have you ever wanted to serve but it's hard to find the time? Serving as a teller happens directly after Sunday service and teams serve once every 8 weeks! The teller teams are four tellers short so please consider helping to fill this need.

PRAYER OF THE WEEK

Lord of kings and nations, you uproot mighty kingdoms more easily than I dig up dandelions. The poorest throne you establish so none can topple it. The promised days have come. You have raised up for David’s line a King who does what is just and right (Jeremiah 23:5). His kingdom “will never be destroyed” (Daniel 2:44). However many turn from the faith and let their love grow cold, however many nations and demons rise up against Christ, the “gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world” (Matthew 24:10-14). May I ever praise you for bringing me into your unstoppable kingdom! Amen.
