SUPPORT AND JOIN DANCE MARATHON
Dance Marathon is a student-led year round philanthropic movement that over 400 colleges and high schools participate in. DM raises money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals that treat 10 million children every year. With National Honor Society’s sponsorship and an enthusiastic leadership team, Miami Palmetto is the first high school in Miami Dade County to host a Dance Marathon. The funds raised will directly benefit children being treated at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital!
We are excited to gather the Panther community for this amazing cause. We will conclude our year of fundraising with a Dance Marathon in the gym with a DJ, fun activities, guest speakers, and more!

Need volunteer service hours? The Deering Seafood Festival would love your help! Sign up as greeters, ticket sales, survey takers, and will call for Sunday, 14 April. If anyone needs additional hours, reach out to Beth Person 305.345.5870 for set up Friday and Saturday.
The School Climate Surveys are an integral part of the District's efforts to promote school improvement and educational accountability. School Climate Surveys of parents, students, and staff have been annually administered in the Miami-Dade County Public School district since the early 1990s. The purpose of these surveys is to gather information regarding what these groups think about the school and their perceptions concerning how the school can be improved.
As the 2024 Florida Legislative Session nears its end on March 8, we expect 3 controversial bills already passed by the House, or expected to do so, to head to the Senate floor for final approval. These are:
